Midweek Advent Worship

Dec. 1, 8,15 & 22. 6:00 p.m. in the Friendship Café.

A time of worship with music, scripture, a short video presentation entitled, “Advent Conspiracy” along with some time for small group conversations.

We will be challenged to rethink Christ’s birth and the implications for our lives as followers of Jesus. He entered our world and our story through his incarnation, becoming human. He took on the form of a servant and his life reflected service especially to the vulnerable and the poor.

How might or how can our Advent and Christmas season take on a new meaning? With less emphasis upon consumerism and more thought and action given to creative giving for the sake of the other. Come catch the vision that many other churches have embraced and who are living out the servant church.
