Lutheran Campformation's Mission
​is Christian Faith formation for youth entering grades 6th- 12th in an outdoor setting.

Lutheran Campformation is a joint ministry among various congregations of the
Grand Canyon Synod of the
​Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

6th - 9th Grade: Campers
10th Grade: G.A.P (God's Always Present) Campers
11th Grade- Age 18: Counselors (Application/Acceptance Required)
Age 19- Age 21: LEAD Counselors (Application/Acceptance Required Camp Fees Waived)

6th-9th Grade Campers
A camp experience that includes campfires, high ropes, zip-lining, low ropes, Bible exploration, small group time, large group games, hiking, swimming pool. volleyball, basketball, archery and more!

10th Grade - G.A.P. Campers
A camp experience that includes a mix of the camper and counselor experience. G.A.P Campers will have opportunities to develop their individual gifts and explore how those gifts can be used in camp setting.
​Just like the rest of camp, G.A.P. campers will experience campfires, high ropes, zip-lining, low ropes, Bible exploration, small group time, large group games, hiking, swimming pool. volleyball, basketball, archery and more!

Counselors: 11th Grade-Age 18
Counselors serve in a faith mentoring and camp shepherding role during the entire week of camp. Counselors get to know their cabin's campers and help each camper to have a wonderful camp experience by looking after them throughout the week, checking in with them regularly on mind, body and spirit health.
Just like the rest of camp, Counselors will experience campfires, high ropes, zip-lining, low ropes, Bible exploration, small group time, large group games, hiking, swimming pool. volleyball, basketball, archery and more!

Lead Counselors: Age 19 - Age 21
Just like Counselors, Lead Counselors serve in a faith mentoring and camp shepherding role during the entire week of camp. Counselors get to know their cabin's campers and help each camper to have a wonderful camp experience by looking after them throughout the week, checking in with them regularly on mind, body and spirit health.
Lead Counselors are responsible for knowing the whereabouts of their campers at all times and for their cabins safety at night. Lead Counselors serve as the most stellar role models for other counselors and all campers.

*Lead Counselors camp fees are waived.*
